About DBB Dredging

The company
DBB Dredging (formerly Svendborg Uddybning) is an established maritime works company that has dredged, cleaned up and expanded Danish ports and fjords over the last 30 years. This website provides information on our vessels equipped with CAT 390 excavators, as well as our services and projects. You will also find videos and photos of case projects. We are happy to do work for industrial ports and marinas.

We have flexible capacity, so that we can assign the right vessels to each project. We believe that a job well done is the best advertising.

Our experience and know how
We are happy to apply our 30 years of experience in the dredging industry to your next project. We complete all projects efficiently – both large and small. We have expertise in the areas of dredging, port expansion, stonework, clean-up (contamination), coast and beach protection, pumping ashore, cable trenches, erosion protection and salvaging.

Our employees
Our staff have extensive experience in the industry and are among the best at their jobs. Our vessel operations are managed by our skilled skippers. This means that the chain of command is short and efficient. All our employees are skilled professionals, and all our vessels have a well-equipped workshop on board, as we have a tradition of solving any problems that may arise on site.

Our people have been working with the company for many years. We have a staff of 22, and many have been with us for 10-15 years, so they have a lot of experience. We do not make any unnecessary replacements, because our crews know the ships and what they can do.

Our fleet has high capacity
Our Jette Saj and Nicolaj Saj vessels each carry a CAT 390 excavator. This means that we are happy to take on large projects involving hundreds of thousands of cubic metres, and even a million cubic metres.

You can read more on our website about our fleet, our CAT 390 excavators, our excavation system and our quality assurance.
